Psychodynamic Counsellor

IN BERKELEY AND GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Restore the balance in your life

As a psychodynamic counsellor, I follow the Freudian theory that believes events in our past can condition how we relate to ourselves and others in the present. Unresolved experiences can have a profound effect on our lives, and sharing can bring around resolution, development and personal growth.

I specialise in listening. I'm here to hear you, not tell you what to do. We'll work together to solve your problems.

Why choose counselling?

Counselling can help you deal with any situation that is causing you stress or emotional difficulty. I am here to:

• Listen to your story, without bias or judgment
• Assist you to explore your thoughts and feelings
• Helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself & your circumstances.

Is counselling for you?

Are you going through an emotional struggle? Let me help you make sense of things that are troubling you, through confidential and impartial counselling. My goal is to provide you with an opportunity to share your problems with someone skilled at listening, someone who will not judge you.

Let yourself be heard

Psychodynamic counselling can help if you are experiencing emotional turbulence in your daily life. Often called the 'talking cure', counselling can provide you with someone trustworthy to share your feelings, thoughts and experiences with. Many people find telling their story to a counsellor helps them achieve a sense of being heard and accepted as a person. This can be a great relief in times of stress.

I offer counselling in a variety of areas, including relationships, bereavement, family conflict, major life changes and having experienced trauma as a child. Call today to book an appointment. I cover Gloucester, Bristol, Dursley, Stroud, Thornbury, Cheltenham, Stonehouse, Berkeley, Wotton-under-Edge and Tetbury.
